RECURRING ADULT SCOUTER MEETINGS

Committee Meeting –Third Monday of the Month in St Mary of Sorrows Parish Center on Sideburn Road at 7:45 PM. Please contact the Committee Chairman if you have questions or wish to put something on the agenda.

Troop 697 Scouters, Families, and Friends:

The end of school is closing fast as we prepare for summer camp. We will be going to Camp Rodney again this year. All reservations are in and the Troop is in the final six weeks of preparation. You should know by now that Mr Smith has stepped down as Scoutmaster and was replaced by Mr. Ramos. I want to thanks Mr. Tony Ramos for stepping forward to fill this critical position. He will require your support as we have lost over 30 years of scouting experience with this change. I also want to thank Mr. Smith for giving our Troop over 7 years of dedicated service as an inspirational leader who has expertly guided our Scouts along the trail, many all the way to Eagle rank.

I encourage all of you to use the Troop, NCAC and Patriot District websites to stay aware of Scouting opportunities and Training resources.  Check out the "Fast Start" website for a quick look at how Troop meetings, Committee meetings and Outings work.

We always welcome adult volunteers to help pull together Scout outings.  The effort is small compared to the rewards you receive when you see our Scouts in action. Join us!
