Crew Advisor Announcements
This July, Boy Scout Troop 697 and Venture Crew 697 are starting on a series of
High Adventure activities beginning with a week at Lenhok'sin High Adventure
base at Goshen Scout Reservation. The adventurers will spend several days
canoeing the James River and backpacking the Shenandoah’s wilderness trails.
This nationally accredited high adventure program offers older Scouts and adult
leaders exciting high adventure opportunities they will remember forever.
Next summer the members of Troop and Crew 697 will embark on the premiere BSA
High Adventure activity - a Philmont Scout Reservation trek! A crew of scouts
will spend two weeks on an unforgettable adventure in sky-high backpacking
country along hundreds of miles of rugged, rock trails. Philmont has high
mountains dominating rough terrain with elevations up to 12,400 feet in northern
New Mexico's Sangre de Christo mountains. This is a Scouting experience of a
lifetime. |
