Troop 697 Scouters, Families, and Friends:

 

We are moving out boldly with activities geared to our maturing Troop.  The Scouts have been engaged in more rigorous backpacking camp outs and many now have their sights set on preparation for the high adventure of Philmont in June of 2010.  This summer our Scouts will attend summer camp at exciting Camp Rodney on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay led by Mr Pavlak.  

 

My thanks to all our adult leaders and Committee members who are enabling the work of the Troop.  

 

There are still several opportunities to help keep our Troop on track with volunteer support over the coming months.  If you can contribute an hour or two each month please contact Mr Ramos or me to assist with any of our outing and activities. Come see what Scouting is all about!

 

Remember, I still need help on the Committee, currently, I am in drastic need for a recorder to take minutes for our Committee meetings.  If you can afford to volunteer one evening a month to support the troop, 3 hours worth of effort, please let me know as soon as possible..
