Troop 697 is always ready to welcome new scouts into our Troop. To join us, a boy needs to have completed the fifth grade or have earned the Arrow of Light award as a Cub Scout or be between 11 and 17 hears old. You do not need to have been a Cub Scout. You do not need to be a member of St. Mary of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church.

Here is how you visit Troop 697. Come to any of our regular Thursday night meetings. We do not host separate meetings to outline what we do to the boys. We believe that our boys are our best spokesmen for the troop. While to boys work with our last year recruits, we take the Parents aside and explain our program from out activities to our philosophies. If you like what you see, let the Scoutmaster or one of his Assistants know and they will help you complete an application form with your parents or guardians and let you know the current registration amount for our Troop.
