Inclement Weather Procedures

Troop 697 follows the Fairfax County Public School inclement weather notices. For the latest information please see the FCPS Emergency Announcement website.

There is only one Troop Committee approved exception to this policy.  That is that the Troop will not meet if school is cancelled for the day, even if night activities are not cancelled.

If announcements need to be made prior to a meeting the Senior Patrol Level will notify the Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders and Patrol Leaders for the quickest dissemination of information.
